With the permission of the court, Cantt police station took Jitendra Mahadev Yadav, accused of murder of female sweeper Victoria Soren (55) on January 1, on custodial remand for three hours with the permission of the court. During police interrogation, the accused kept changing his statement again and again.
During police interrogation, the accused said that he had asked for food from the woman, but when she did not give it, he killed her. Then he said that he had tried to sexually assault the woman and when she protested, he killed her. After interrogation, the police admitted him back to the district jail.
According to the police, a case was filed against Jitendra Mahadev Yadav in 2014 by a woman from Mehnagar area of Azamgarh. When Jitendra failed to rape the woman, he bit her nose and ears with his teeth. However, the police had registered a case only on charges of assault. He was in jail for six months on that charge. Pankaj, the watchman near his village, told the police that he was a psychopath. His four names are Jitendra, Mahadev, Chetu and Jittan.

The police is investigating the reasons for the murder. Police say that the incident was carried out due to enmity. Anger is clearly visible in the way the murder has been committed. When the miscreants came and when they went, all this is captured in the CC camera. The matter is being investigated with the help of footage.
